What you know about this Soka Tribe life? 😉 (i.e. what is your affiliation, how long, how did it start)

Soka Tribe Life is a movement of positive, vibrant, and united cultures from all over the world. I know the founder for over 3years, she’s awesome. We’ve met in Trinidad for carnival, and we’ve been cool ever since.

What brought you to this particular carnival?

What brought me to Trinidad carnival, was family first and foremost, then it was to experience what we call the Best carnival in the world. The hype, the epic vibes, the culture,. The steel pans, and costumes are what make Trinidad so deep-rooted in history and flavour.

Have you played mas before? When and where?

I’ve played mas in Trinidad, Notting hill London, and Barbados. Trinidad was way back in 2014.

What carnivals would you rinse and repeat?’

I would rinse and repeat Trinidad without a doubt.

What do you wish you knew about this carnival before going?

I wish I knew how much sleep i was likely to get, so i can prepare to be up all night.

What would you say makes this carnival different from others?

Trinidad carnival is different from the others because, it is capable for catering for a larger population, they have all costumes and designs ready for all.

Anything else the Soka Tribe should know about you?

Soka Tribe should know that I’m always ready to have a great time. I live life, love life, and is life when it comes to fetes and playing mas
