We are Soka Tribe, your Afro-Caribbean carnival connection, and on Saturday, October 21st we’re hosting our first family dance fitness classes, both LIVE ONLINE and in person in Washington, D.C.!

Soka Tribe Kiddie & Me (Sat. Oct 21, 12:30p – 1:00p ET)
One grown-up plus young revelers ages 0–12 can enjoy soca-powered movement together in a 30-minute fete that’s fun and easy-to-follow for everyone! $30 for pairs in person +$10 for each additional child
Soka Tribe Kiddie’s Carnival (Sat. Oct 21, 1:00p ET – 1:30p ET)
You’re never too young to soca! Solo kiddies ages 2–12 can jump up with Sokanista in a 30-minute taste of Kiddies’ Carnival. Supervision is encouraged, but not required.
$20 in person
FAQS:
There are two class names and times, what’s the difference?!
Kiddie & Me Class- Each ticket is for 1 child and 1 adult
Kiddies Carnival- Each ticket is for one child
Can we do both classes? Yes! Select “Kiddie Combo” for the whole hour of bacchanal at $40 for pairs + $10 for each additional child. In-person spots are limited, so RSVP today.
Can we do this online? Yes! As we say in the Caribbean, “all house is road” … so feel free to join us from the comfort of your living room. Alternative pricing for virtual tickets is available.
What if I have multiple children to bring to Kiddie & me?
For our bigger families, you may buy additional child ONLY tickets.
We can’t make it that day. Can we come next time? Yes! Soka Tribe Family Classes return once per quarter (for now). Please follow us on social media or sign up for our newsletter to stay informed.
Are dads allowed?
CARNIVAL IS FOR EVERY ONE! Dads, big bros, parents, tantys, uncles, titis, welas, guardians, cousins, neighbors … as long as the kiddies say so 🙂
Can I bring my baby or non-ambulatory child? Yes! Please contact us at admin@sokatribe.com to tell us more before reserving your spot.
My kiddo would love this, but I DO NOT dance!
Two great options, send them to the Kiddie Carnival class where they can meet new friends, or send them with another caregiver 16+ years old. We really want Kiddie and Me to be a bonding experience so no child should attend alone!
What if I’m not in DC and I want to come?!
Of course, Everything will be streamed if you would like to join us live online!
